KAPS Personal Generator

 

The KAPS (Kaldara Power System) is a small, modular and transportable electrical power generating unit that uses pollution free geothermal energy from the earth.

The KAPS units can be installed at production site in days rather than years and will open up the possibility of utilizing temporary access to geothermal wells. Containers are used as on-site buildings and by appropriate arrangement and environmental painting they can be made to resemble and adjust to the surrounding nature.

GeoSurvey and Kaldara in co-operation


1st Dec 2008 Kaldara Green Energy and Iceland GeoSurvey made an agreement to work on prefeasibility studies for projects abroad concerning potential geothermal harnessing. On the agenda are studies of areas in both Algeria and Colombia.

Management of the contract on behalf of Kaldara is in the hands of Skuli Johannsson and that of Iceland GeoSurvey in the hands of Bjarni Richter.
