Mr. Olafur Ragnar Grimsson the president of Iceland paid a visit to Kaldara Green Energy offices in Reykjavik on the 12th of March 2009. An introduction to the Kaldara concept was conducted for the president by the Kaldara team and KAPS technology in current projects were introduced. The president showed much interest in the 5 MW KAPS geothermal power plants, manufactured in co-operation with Hindustan Turbomachinery in India.

The president empasized that Icelandic companies working in the energy sector should joined forces towards geothermal projects abroad. The field is so big that there are plenty of room for all.
