KAPS Personal Generator

 

The KAPS (Kaldara Power System) is a small, modular and transportable electrical power generating unit that uses pollution free geothermal energy from the earth.

The KAPS units can be installed at production site in days rather than years and will open up the possibility of utilizing temporary access to geothermal wells. Containers are used as on-site buildings and by appropriate arrangement and environmental painting they can be made to resemble and adjust to the surrounding nature.

A visit om the Secretary General for the Nordic Council of Ministers

Halldor Asgrímsson the former Prime Minister of Iceland and current Secretary General for the Nordic Council of Ministers visited Kaldara Green Energy offices 17 July 2009. At the meeting he was introduced to the KAPS technology and the Hellisheidi power plant project Kaldara is currently working on. 

At the meeting he expressed interest in introducing Icelandic technology to other Norwegian countries. A part of that introduction Kaldara Green Energy has been included in the Nordic Energy Solutions web the official showcase for Nordic sustainable energy strongholds.
